Yard Sales

Some friends of  mine and I hit the yard sales yesterday!  We started at 8am and finished around noon.  Saturday isn't a good time to go out, guess you need to go on Friday mornings when they first have them so they aren't all picked through.  Even so, I still found a few things.

Wooden birds, plates, coasters, antique runners, sheer curtain, twine,  string of lights, and candle holder.

I also got this plate stand. I've been wanting one of these for a long time and finally got  me one.

Two dollars.

I'm going to spray paint it white.

I found another antique store twice the size as the other one, it had some amazing things in it, but the prices were inflated.  It had so much amazing stuff though. 

Yesterday we also painted some more of my friends kitchen. Feels like we've been painting it forever. We ran into a problem with peeling paint. House was built in 1912 and it had about 8 layers of paint on it.  We're working through it and hoping it will be done one day :)
