Here is all the new growth I have got from the garden so far.
I think I'm most excited about all the cherry tomatoes on my Topsy Turvy, there must be almost 50 tomatoes on it!!

My strawberries didn't do well at all, not sure if I will try to grow these again. I don't like the strawberry planter, there is no hole in the bottom for water to drain out, so the bottom 2 plants died that were the farthest down since the soil was too wet for them. They only gave me little tiny strawberries, not a good size either.

I think cucumbers are the cutest to see growing. I love how they grew up the wire holder and they wrap their little hands around to hold on as they grow up it.

I grew banana peppers last year and they did really well, so I am growing them again this year, too.
I love making salsa out of these.

I don't think I could kill these chives if I tried. The purple flowers at the top sure are pretty.
You can use these flowers to make Chive Vinegar, too.
Living The Frugal Life and Calendula & Concrete show beautiful photos of their vinegar.

This is the biggest moth I have ever seen in my life! It is 3 inches long if not longer. I did some research and I found that it's called a Regal Moth (Hickory Horned Devil-larva form). Those horns do creep me out a little, but I think it is actually really pretty. It has fur on it that looks like velvet. It was on my deck and scared me when I first saw it. They apparently are harmless though, so I am gonna just let him hang out there. :)
I'm hoping in another 2 or 3 weeks I should be having a nice supply of veggies I can finally pick and eat!
This is definitely a learning experience with a lot of trial and error.
I'm having fun though!

Dont you love it when the little things start to happen?!
Your garden looks wonderful!!! So wish I could have a garden, too. Please let us know what you do with all those lovely veggies you are going to be enjoying.
Strawberries are perennials, and don't do much the first year they're planted. Don't give up on them yet--the best is yet to come!
