Selling my Home

Sold the house!

I know this is quite a shock to most of you that I am selling my home, but it is also shocking to myself that I am selling it!  I love this little house so much and I put a lot of love and work into it, I will miss my little home so much.

Here are the photos of each room...

I'm just taking each day one day at a time to see what my next steps will be. Right now my focus is on my dad and taking care of him.  He's back at home now after being in the hospital for about a month and a half.  We're working on getting his strength back because he's not able to stand or walk yet. Continue to keep him in your prayers.
Update: Dad passed away to be with our beautiful Lord and Savior Aug 7th, 2012.

I'm so sorry about your dad and of course he (and you) will be in my prayers.

You've put so much love into your house and I know you hate to leave but I'm sure you'll find another home soon to put your special touch to.

Looking at all the rooms in your house made me remember all the things your dad did to help you get it in such good shape. Some lucky buyer will get a great house!

Yes, my dad helped me so much with the home. The thing he did that I love most is the beautiful walnut mantle he made and put up on the fireplace. I almost wish I could take it with me! The house has so many memories even though I was only in it a little less than 3 years.
Thank you for your prayers.

Your home is beautiful and if those photos are anything to go by you wont have any trouble selling. At the end of the day you know a house is just a house, you made it a home by loving it just as you will put all new memories into a new home for you. All the best to your Dad he is your no. 1 right now x

Thanks Michelle. I do have quite a few people coming to look at the house this week. So hopefully it will sell. Yes, my dad is priority now and I know that when I get another house, I can look forward to fixing it up just the same. Well, not the same, I will use lots of bright colors next time around, see, I'm already planning in my head. :)

Your home has always been a favorite of mine, and if I could convince my family to move to Mt. Airy, I would put an offer on your house! Thank you for the inspiration and the times you personally answered my e-mails. You've helped make my home more special, too! Many blessings to you and your family.

Aww thanks Susanne. Your kind words really mean a lot. I will continue to blog in the future and keep everyone updated on how everything is going.

Hi Jolie, you and your dad are in my thoughts and prayers as well. I really enjoyed following the progress of this beautiful house, and someone else will be very lucky to buy it. I can't remember how I originally found your blog, but so glad I did. Hopefully you continue to blog and eventually find a new home when the time is right.

Your house has always been one of my favorites--I'm going to miss it (and I know you will, too)! But what matters most right now is being with your dad and I'm glad you have the chance to do just that. Good luck with the sale and please keep us posted where you land--we'll look forward to seeing your next place. Keeping you and your dad in my thoughts and prayers!

Lindsay, thank you for your prayers. Yes, when I find a new home, I will definitely be blogging about it.

Denise, yes I am fortunate that I don't have to be working right now so I can be there for my dad. The business I was in actually wasn't doing well, I don't think I ever let anyone know about that either. Just so much has happened lately. I will definitely keep you posted where I end up. My mom and I already have some ideas in mind, but nothing is set in stone right now, so I will let everyone know about that as soon as I can.

May God guide and uphold you as you travel in this season of your life!

I will be waiting.

Best of luck to you Jolie, I'll be thinking of your Dad. I've followed your blog since it was featured on YHL. I would buy your house just for your library closet. You are so creative.

Agents are willing to help you provide your house easily and to make sure you do not take a low tennis ball provide. If you are someone who is promoting your house, definitely consider having the help of a property broker by your part.

Wow! It is really a beautiful house. It love the interiors. I looks vibrant. It is indeed cool that you choose neutral colors.

I also love the lawn. Great photos. The buyer is surely lucky to have this property.

The lawn is in great condition! Each room is distinctive and beautifully designed. You have a very beautiful home, inside and out, to say the least. I believe you have a fairly good reason to decide to put it in the market. If you badly need to, I can only wish you all the best with the process. :)

You had such a lovely home, Jolie! Each room is a portrait of how much love and effort you put into making it beautiful. I’m sure that the future owner of the house will appreciate it. Everything looks perfect and immaculate! From the outside, it looks very simple and laid back. But when you get to see the interiors of the house, every detail speaks sophistication and elegance!

PS
I’m sorry to hear about your dad.
