Figuring It All Out

Right now I'm staying with my mom in the beautiful farm house. We have our hands full right now and hopefully soon, things will slow down so we can figure out what direction to go.

I'm in the middle of selling my home, so I'm trying to go over to my place every other day to pack things up. I close on it at the end of this month. So many things are changing.

My dad left a business behind, so I'm also in the middle of trying to get the rest of the business sold. A huge warehouse full of telecom equipment.

Thank each of  you who said such nice things in the comments of my last post, I read each and every one of them. Mom and I are just taking each day one day at a time.

God bless,

I love you forever, dad

In Memory of my loving Dad

My dad passed away August 7th, 2012. He had been struggling with cancer since 2007. Those who have been following my blog know that my dad has always been a huge part of my life. The loss I feel is tremendous, but my gain is even more tremendous for getting to have had him in my life. I would not be the person I am today if it were not for my dad

I love him more than words can ever say and that love will live on inside my heart forever. There is no good-bye, for I will see him again one day.

You probably remember me posting some pics of him as he was helping me fix up my house I just bought a few years ago. (By the way, my house sold.)  He did so much work in it, from putting in the beautiful butcher block counter tops,  adding beautiful french doors,  making a mantle for the fireplace, not to mention the tons of other things he did around the house. He would have moved the moon for me if I would have asked him to. He always cared about my happiness and was there for me no matter what.

I know he is no longer suffering and he's with the Lord as the angels are singing and rejoicing.

I will make another post with pics of him when I'm able to get around to scanning some old photographs. I just wanted to let everyone know about his passing and eventually I will get back to blogging again.

Thank you to my devoted followers and for your encouraging words and prayers, it makes me happy to know you are there for me, even though some of us have never met IRL.

God bless.
