Quiet Pond

Click photo to enlarge

This is a little pond on my friends farm here in Lowgap, NC.
She showed me photos she took of it in the snow and it was so amazing.
Can you imagine having this view to look at from the breakfast table?  :)

Every day would be a serene day if I looked out at that every morning! Beautiful!

Hello and welcome to Nature Notes Jolie...I went and read about 'you' and I am so sorry about your Father. My Mother passed away from cancer in October and we too cared for her. It was rewarding and heartbreaking all at the same time. Hopefully nature will give you some respite from your grief as I find it does for me. I love ponds as we have one and right now I am listening to some mallard ducks.. Take care..Michelle

The top image - both are stunning - but the fist one makes me feel like I'm looking into the sky above and below the horizon.

Way to go, you!

That first shot is a beautiful composition!
And yes, looking out at it every morning but sure put a smile on my face.

Great shot. Something in us reacts peacefully to water scenes.
