Going Bananas

These are the banana trees in my yard at the house I just bought.

 I'm so looking forward to
starting this next chapter of my life once I can get settled into my new home.

KEEP
CALM
AND
DON'T
GO
BANANAS

The Florida Farm

Click photo to Enlarge

We visited a friends house yesterday and they live on a farm here in Florida.
They have some really amazing animals so I had to capture these beauties on camera!
She rescued Avalon there and said the horse didn't have any hair when she got him,
but now as you can see, Avalon is looking great and in a happy home.

They Accepted My Offer!

The first step is over and they accepted my offer.

Here are some interior shots of the house. It's really clean and I love the layout, with the living room and dining area in the back of the house to look out to the back yard.

It does need some aesthetic touches, not too much, but just enough for me to put my fingerprint on it. :)
Paint walls, replace carpet and upgrade the kitchen.

Front living room area when you first walk in.

Second living room area in the back of the house.
I want to replace the carpet here.

Dining room.

Master bedroom.

Guest Bathroom.

The kitchen.

I would like to paint the interior lighter with blues and a more beachy vibe. I'm looking forward to moving into my new home if everything else goes smoothly from here.

Found A House - Put in an offer today

This all happened so quickly. Found out there are multiple offers on it already so I went in at asking price.  I will let you know if they accepted.

All of this grassy area you see is part of the property that comes with it.
This is the side of the house.
So perfect for Little Foot to run and play!

This is a canal right down at the end of the street.

Huge screened in back porch where I would probably spend most of my time.

The house is much bigger than I had planned on, but the location, neighborhood, layout, huge yard, price, everything was just too perfect to pass this up.  The inside needs some tweaking. Mostly just aesthetics.  I get a really good feel when I'm here, it has a lot of light that comes in, feels very Florida/beachy. Just 10 minutes to the beach, too!
